Lead Coach Room 108B

Hola! My name is Karla Russell and I am excited to be Lead Coach at Cameron. Previous to Cameron, I enjoyed being a teacher in the classroom for the last 27 years.  Through the years I have taught Science, Social Studies, Language Arts and Special Education. I love education and teaching because I find learning everyday very exciting and want to impart that energy and excited feeling of learning to the students with whom I work. I started my career in 1996, at Finkl Academy in Little Village.  Next, I taught in the Hermosa neighborhood at McAuliffe Elementary.  It was a joy to work with the students and communities at both of these school. 

I look forward to bring my energy to Cameron and help our students achieve to the best of their potential.
